So, MY DAD ROCKS!!!
And now I've a new computer (this one) much sooner than I had planned. It was a joint effort and I still have to buy a new monitor (cos these days computers aren't sold with monitors, probably cos there's monitors that cost as much, if not more than a desktop) but until then I've a brand new computer. *dances*
